MAYACAMAS

Perched on the top of Mount Veeder, Mayacamas is one of the most historic vineyards in Napa, dating back to the 1880s.  This contemporary tasting room, through its use of Northern California materials, blends with the original buildings.

Seeking to elevate the experience well beyond a typical Napa vineyard, the owners wanted to include major works of contemporary Art & Design.  Therefore, a chandelier was commissioned from Studio Drift, a massive reclaimed wood table cast in acrylic was created by Barn in the City.  Artworks by Chuck Close and Barnaby Barford.

Roric Tobin Designs also created many custom pieces including a tasting cabinet using old wine casks and outdoor furniture making use of trees harvested on the property itself.  One of the most respected vineyards in the country now has a tasting room to match the quality of the wines they produce.
