CEDAR BEACH HOUSE

This residence on the bucolic North Fork of Long Island was designed and developed by Roric Tobin and his husband Justin Concannon.  The owners of this home then contracted Roric Tobin Designs to fit out the interiors with furniture and artwork.  The clean, modern interior is deliberately meant to be a calm counterpart to the owners’ intense City lives.  The home features many inviting spaces to curl up with a book, have a morning coffee or share a lovely glass of wine with a few friends.

 

Colorful artworks bring life and a sense of joy to the spaces.  The pair of Murakami works are from his “Mind of the Artist” series and the client felt they matched her mindset during the pandemic.  The pair of photographs in the dining room are by the French artist Karine Laval who also has a home in the area.
